The research is an endeavor to virtually realize a 20MW Microgrid. Parallel operation of at least 50 converters in different layers of operation and buses are
implemented on several Opal-RT targets. The philosophy behind it is to keep the operation of the microgrid as the converters operate synchronously and they share the power to the load
democratically. This testbench has the capability to monitor and implement any possible scenarios that might occur to a microgrid with different renewable resources in grid-connected and isolated modes of operation.
